A dream come true…
The long awaited dream of this locality came to reality on 1st June 1994 as St. Francis English Medium School took its birth with the strength of 14 tiny-tots, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Vincent D’Souza.
Fr Vincent is a man of vision. He felt the need of the time to start an English Medium school. He was very enthusiastic and being a very dynamic person got the full support and co-operation from the managing committee as well as from the public.
It took its birth under the management of Catholic Board of Education, Mangalore, then Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza as the President of the Board and Rev.Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth as the Secretary.
It was a small beginning but a great task. The transfer of Fr Vincent passed on the baton of Correspondent to Fr Lawrence D’Souza.

Great has been God’s grace and blessing upon the school for which it is truly grateful. An overview of the academic co-curricular and extra curricular achievement brings a warm glow of satisfaction. The joint venture of the management, the parents, the staff and the students have been very fruitful.
It is a matter of pride that the school has a good reputation in and around Mudarangadi. Thanks to the dedicated staff who keep service above self. The school has sufficient teaching and non-teaching staff members who strive for excellence in every field by their dedication, spirit of service and hard work. Surely, joyful service and cooperation of the staff members has helped to run the school well.
